How he works

He reads platform data together with sales, qualified demand and product economics.

In e-commerce he works on product economics and the creative testing system together; for local businesses, service scope, search intent and qualified demand; for SaaS, positioning, acquisition and activation.

The “Real data” cases in his guides come from the dashboards of accounts he has worked on; brands are anonymised, and every case states its data source and dates. Scenarios that start with “Let’s say” are illustrations.

From the field

Dated cases from the dashboards.

What the problem was, what was done and what happened next. Brands are anonymised.

Meta Ads

A clothing brand’s ROAS rose from 0.34 to 3 in 2–3 months: measurement first, then the system

After

Purchase ROAS (2–3 months later)

What we did: We fixed purchase and checkout tracking with the Pixel and Conversions API, optimised a simpler campaign structure for purchases and switched off placements that wasted budget, connected the product catalogue for dynamic ads to cart abandoners, and set up a routine for producing and testing new creative.

Lesson: When ROAS is low, the first job is measurement, not creative or budget: until Meta sees purchases correctly, campaign structure, catalogue ads and creative tests cannot work with the right data either. Whether a ROAS of 3 means profit depends on product margin.

Google Ads

74% of spend went to 5 broad keywords, 43% to irrelevant searches

74%
Share of spend going to 5 broad match keywords (total ₺14,214.38)
After
0
Broad match keywords left in active ad groups (13 Oct)

What we did: We cut target countries from 35 to 16, moved bidding to conversions, grew the negative keyword list from 502 to 536 and, on 13 October, switched all 67 broad match keywords in active ad groups to phrase match.

Lesson: Start an audit with the change history; broad match and one-tap dashboard recommendations can change where the budget goes without anyone noticing.

All 52 conversions were login-page visits; purchases: 0

After
3 / 1
Impressions / clicks on 29 Jul until 15:10 (previous week ~135 / ~5 a day)

What we did: We moved page-view conversions to secondary, rebuilt the primary conversion on the real sign-up event in Google Tag Manager, replaced a wrongly configured conversion linker and lowered the daily budget.

Lesson: Fake conversions have to be cleaned up, but if you do not rebuild value-based bidding around the volume of the real signal at the same time, the system goes blind.

Before touching the creative: payments were not fully reaching Meta

A SaaS product selling globally · Meta ads

Before
5 / 0
Subscription events: from the browser / from the server (21 Jul – 18 Aug)
After
6
User matching keys (previously 3)

What we did: We removed a duplicate Pixel tag, fixed the payment webhook so it calls the Conversions API directly with an email fallback and IP address, and loaded the Pixel from a single source in the app code.

Lesson: When performance drops, we confirm that sales reach the ad platform in full before changing the creative; a missing signal can look like ad fatigue.
